Often, there seem to be connection issues between Ledger Live and the rest of the blockchain. This manifests as balances not showing up on your Ledger Live app or your balances being out of sync. These issues are not that alarming as you should be able to check the transactions to follow your deposits. So as long as you followed the simple rule ‘’keep your recovery seed safe’’ then you have nothing to worry about if you used the right account address.

Today, we will introduce you to a list of possible solutions that would solve your problem. Let’s dive in.

Possible Fixes

Make sure you are using the latest version of Ledger Live.

The “missing” transactions could be due to a synchronization issue. To rule this out you can try to clear the cache.

How to clear the cache?

  • Navigate to Settings>Help> tab. Within that tab, you should see ‘Cache’ and a blue button next to it. Press the ‘Clear’ button along with the cache and this will clear the cache.
  • Close and reopen Ledger Live and check if account balances have been synchronized.

How to verify that ETH transaction was deposited successfully

Step 1: Navigate to the official site (etherscan.io), and type your ETH address in the search bar, as shown below.

Step 2: Click ‘Enter’ and this will pull out all the transactions associated with this address. From this, you can confirm whether or not you received funds into your wallet or not.

Be patient

It could just be that your Ledger Live is up to date but there might be a delay in the synchronization of your accounts. Just give it a few days if the balance is still not showing up then contact the Ledger support team.

Conclusion

Ledger Live is a great application but sometimes users complain that their balance is not up to date. When there are connection issues with Ledger Live transactions aren’t showing up either. This tutorial covers several fixes to this issue. However, if you see that the issue persists it is worth dropping the Ledger Live support team a line to let them know.
